At the time of their marrage, both Catherine Bunn and Samuel A. Nine were residents of Wake Co., NC. They were married by Prestley P. Pace, Justice of Peace. Witnesses were Debbie A. Pace, Mary A. Pace and Olie Pace. According to the 1860 census for New Hanover Co., NC, Catherine was living in the Wilmington District of that county in the household of her uncle, Larkin Fox Bunn.
