Notes for Albert Green Bunn

On January 14, 1853, in the division of his father's land, Albert Green Bunn received 58 acres of land adjoining the Tar River in the southeastern part of Franklin Co., NC. Albert was a famer and resided in Johnston Co., NC. On October 5, 1853, Albert received 200 acres of land at the mouth of Green Branch on Cattail Swamp in Johnston County from his father-in-law, Wilie Price, In March of 1863, in Lenoir County, he enlisted into service for the CSA. Civil War records indicate that he was sick in the hospital at Wilson, NC from April 1863 until 31 Aug 1864. However, he was reported for duty in the Nov-Dec 1864 muster.
